Jobs Announcement Set For Shelbyville

Subscribe NowGovernor Mike Pence and Shelbyville Mayor Tom DeBaun will make an economic development announcement Tuesday morning. They will be joined by executives from a Japan-based company to discuss jobs coming to the area.
In March, Krone North America announced it was moving its headquarters from Tennessee to Shelbyville. The $12.5 million investment was expected to create 100 high-wage jobs by 2021.
Tuesday’s announcement comes more than a week after California-based Determine Inc. (Nasdaq: DTRM) announced it was relocating its headquarters to Carmel, bringing 24 new high-wage jobs by 2019.
The jobs announcement is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. at 400 Northbrook Drive, south of I-74 in Shelbyville.
