The company plans to finish its "Fiber to the Premise Project," a system-wide upgrade from copper to fiber optics service, by the end of the month.
A spokesperson for the company says more than $80 million has been invested over the course of 10 years for the project.
The project began with Endeavor replacing copper lines in Cloverdale in 2005. Since that time, the company has replaced more than 2,300 miles of copper lines in eight counties. The upgrades allow the company to provide television service and up to 1 gigabit high-speed internet service.
The final community receiving the upgrade is Atlanta, Indiana. Endeavor Communications is hosting a ceremony in honor the the project next week in Atlanta.
