Three employees of Columbus-based Cummins Inc. have been promoted. Mary Titsworth Chandler, who serves as vice president of corporate responsibility and chief executive officer of the Cummins Foundation, has been named an officer of the company. She will continue in her previous roles in addition to her new role as officer. In her five years at Cummins, Chandler led a team in the development of the TEC: Technical Education for Communities program, which the company says is on pace to bring technical vocational education to nearly 900 students in nine countries. Cummins has also promoted Michael Miller, a 15-year veteran of the company, to vice president and controller of engine business.
