Indianapolis-based CountryMark has named Brian Pope as the co-op’s vice president of strategy. He previously served as director geology and asset management for CountryMark Energy Resources LLC in Evansville. Pope previously served as staff geologist, drilling and completion director and vice president of Newburgh-based Trey Exploration Inc. Matt Smorch, who had previously served as vice president of supply and strategy, will become vice president of supply and optimization for CountryMark Refining and Logistics.
