Volunteers of America of Indiana Inc. has selected John von Arx III as president and chief executive officer. He previously was the first head of the state’s largest community corrections agency, superintendent of the state’s largest juvenile detention center, two-term elected auditor of Marion County. He also served on the staff of Governor Mitch Daniels as the justice/public safety policy director. Von Arx has also worked for KPMG LLP and Crowe Horwath LLP.
