Evansville Regional Airport Executive Director Doug Joest will serve as the 2015 Executive in Residence for the University of Southern Indiana’s Romain College of Business. The program, now in its 43rd year, is designed to connect students and faculty to business leaders.

As part of the program, he will make a presentation next week in Carter Hall in the University Center West on the Evansville campus. His presentation, "Flight Plan for Your Career: Passion, Persistence, Performance & Patience," is scheduled for Thursday, October 22 at 9:00 a.m. and noon.

Joest is a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and USI. His previous experience includes public accounting work at a natural gas pipeline company in Texas and 13 years as chief financial officer and business manager at Tri-State Aero Inc. in Evansville. He joined the Evansville Airport staff in 2007, and has led the facility since 2010. He is also on the Romain College of Business Board of Advisors.
