Tech Developer to Locate to Bloomington ‘Foundry’

Subscribe NowA Bloomington-based software company has announced a new headquarters and plans to add 40 employees. Cornerstone Information Systems, which develops applications for travel management businesses, will locate to the mixed-use Foundry development in the city’s downtown in 2017.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mat Orrego says the company currently employs more than 80, including 50 in Bloomington. CIS says it is experiencing robust growth in its largest enterprise client segment. The company recently released new data visualization and analytics software and plans to launch two other solutions next month. Cornerstone is accepting applications for positions including sales and account management, delivery and implementation consultants, project managers, data scientists and software engineers. Orrego says "we are investing in a new corporate head office to accommodate our future growth and take the company to the next level."
Cornerstone was founded in 1992 and has clients in 50 countries. Construction on the new development is set to begin next month.
