A Tennessee-based logistics company is planning to reduce its South Bend work force. In a notice to the state, Forward Air Inc. says it will terminate “many” of its more than 200 positions at the office. It has already cut nearly 20 jobs. The company says it does not anticipate closing the entire office.

Forward Air also has locations at Indianapolis International Airport, Evansville Regional Airport and Fort Wayne International Airport.
