The City of Evansville is preparing to make an “exciting” announcement this week about the Evansville Sports Complex. Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, the Convention & Visitors Bureau and county leaders will gather Wednesday to talk about the future of the complex.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville Convention & Visitors Bureau requests your attendance at a press conference scheduled on Wednesday, March 11, at 10 a.m. at the Evansville Sports Complex located at 4300 Heckel Road. For this occasion, the entrances through the Goebel Soccer Complex on Green River Road and the Sports Complex on Heckel Road will be used.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, along with Vanderburgh County Commission President Joe Kiefer and ECVB Board President Donna Leader, will make an exciting announcement about the future of the complex at the press conference. Remarks begin promptly at 10 a.m. Interviews will be available following the announcement.
