News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ironworks at Keystone, Indianapolis' premier living and retail property, announces it was named the recipient of the 2015 Best Retail/Mixed Use Project of the Year Award from the Indiana Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

On Feb. 26, the Indiana chapter of NAIOP recognized the best commercial real estate projects of 2014 during its seventh annual real estate award ceremony at the Conrad Indianapolis. Ironworks at Keystone was one of four winners among 13 nominees.

Built in September 2014, Ironworks at Keystone, located at 2727 E 86th St., brings together upscale residential units and retail under one roof. The distinct 5-story development features nearly 36,000 square feet of fine dining and shopping on the first floor, and 120 modern residential apartments on the upper floors. Ironworks is solely owned by Hendricks Commercial Properties, a Wisconsin-based development firm that manages more than 12 million square feet of real estate in 39 states across the country.

“We are extremely honored that our Ironworks at Keystone project was selected as the best mixed-use development in NAIOP's annual chapter awards,” said Rob Gerbitz, president and CEO for Hendricks Commercial Properties. “Our residential tenants can enjoy upscale apartment living to its finest, then walk downstairs to some of the best shopping and dining options available in the market. We strive to bring the finest living accommodations possible to our Indianapolis community.”

Current retail tenants in Ironworks at Keystone include Profyle Boutique, Vogue Nail Spa, Scottrade and Ruth's Chris. This particular Ruth's Chris location is the largest in the world. This spring, Ironworks will also become home to long-time Indianapolis favorite Sangiovese Ristorante, formerly located in Clearwater Crossings Shopping Center, and a Food Network-owned restaurant chain soon to be announced.
