The Indiana House has approved a measure to repeal the Common Wage law for public construction projects. It now heads to the Senate, where it will be carried by Carlin Yoder (R-12). The bill was authored by Representative Jerry Torr (R-39). He says it will allow the free market to work and give taxpayers the “best deal for their money.”

House Minority Leader Scott Pelath (D-9), one of the bill's opponents, says the measure is about an “out-of-state” ideology.
