News Release

ANDERSON, Ind. – Madison County Chamber (MCC), the voice and catalyst of Madison County’s marketplace, has announced the nominees and award finalists for its 2015 Annual Awards Gala which celebrates the best in business in Madison County and surrounding areas.

Winners will be announced at a #COURAGEOUS-themed, semi-formal awards ceremony and gala presented by St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital and the Story Shop on Thursday, February 26, at the Madison Park Church of God.

For the first time in recorded history, MCC will honor and award 14 organizations celebrating their 50th, 100th, 125th and 150th anniversaries including Gaither Music Company, Ivy Tech, W.R. Dunkin & Son, and the City of Anderson.

“I am truly humbled to recognize these defining milestones of many multi-generational, family-owned businesses in our marketplace,” said Kyle Morey, president and CEO of Madison County Chamber. “It takes a courageous leader to direct an organization with 50 to 150 years of history and make it relevant and profitable in today’s economy.”

Modern Trailer Sales Inc, a three-generational RV dealer and last year’s Small Business of the Year winner, recently expanded operations with a maintenance facility and went on to win the RV Business Top 50 Award. Emerging Business of the Year winner, The Story Shop, continues to expand regionally with its We Are Madison County film campaign.
