An Indianapolis-based engineering firm has added the state's former public finance director to its executive team. Kendra York is now director of planning services and economic development at American Structurepoint. February 6, 2015

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis-based architecture and engineering firm American Structurepoint is excited to welcome Kendra York to the Planning Group. York will serve as the director of planning services and economic development, after leading the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) as the public finance director of the state of Indiana.

“I've had a wonderful opportunity at the state to work on interesting and difficult projects, “said York. “I'm excited to bring that experience to the Planning Group, and ultimately American Structurepoint clients.”

A licensed attorney in Indiana and California, York brings more than 16 years of experience in client and project management of public and institutional finance for projects of all types. York's primary role will be providing overall management and direction for the Planning Group.

American Structurepoint President and COO Rick Conner is excited to welcome York to the team in a leadership role. Conner admires not only her positive contributions to the IFA, but her love for project conceptualization.

York started her new position at American Structurepoint on February 2, 2015.
