Governor Mike Pence is reportedly set to launch a state-run news service. According to documents obtained by the Indianapolis Star, “Just IN” will publish stories written by state communications officials and break news about the Pence administration. On his Twitter account Monday night, the Governor said the site will offer the same services as the state's press release calendar, but “with a new look.” “Just IN” is scheduled to launch next month. The Indianapolis Star reports one of its former reporters, Bill McCleery, will oversee the effort. The publication says the effort will have two dedicated employees with a combined salary of nearly $100,000.

Governor Pence is scheduled to announce the federal approval of the HIP 2.0 program this morning in Indianapolis. There is no indication whether he will address the reports of plans for the state-run service.
