A landmark that served as the center of government before Indiana became a state will be featured Tuesday night on national television. NBC will air an episode of Parks and Recreation that was filmed late last year at Grouseland in Vincennes. The Grouseland Foundation, which operates and maintains the more than 200-year old building, says former U.S. President William Henry Harrison and his family lived in the brick Georgian/Federal home during his time as Indiana Territory Governor.

The foundation says it is the first brick home in Indiana.

As a recognized presidential site, it currently exhibits presidential campaign materials and Battle of Tippecanoe artifacts.
