Columbus-based Impact Forge Group LLC is planning to invest $7.5 million into an expansion. Our partners at The Republic report the auto industry supplier intends to create 30 jobs by the end of next year. Earlier this year, Impact Forge pumped nearly $4 million into upgraded equipment. As part of that investment, the company also added a small number of workers.

The company headquarters is near Walesboro in the Woodside Industrial Park.

Impact Forge manufactures drivetrain, engine, steering, transmission and wheel end components.
