SOUTH BEND, Ind. — WorkOne’s Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program is sponsoring a Veterans Day Appreciation Walk & Benefit on Nov. 07 in Plymouth.
What: Veterans Day Appreciation Walk & Benefit.
Who: Members of the public
Where: River Park Square, corner of East Garro Street and Water Street, PLYMOUTH
When: Friday, Nov. 07, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Details: Donations of any amount will be appreciated. JAG specialists and students are hoping for $10.00 donations and all proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project (for additional information: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
At heart, WorkOne’s JAG program focuses on helping young people strengthen their decision-making abilities as well as their technical- and soft-skills to a level necessary to enter, compete and succeed in either the local workforce or post-secondary education. To reach this skill-level, each student invests thought, energy and curiosity in the various components of JAG’s curriculum as well as participating in community service and other activities, such as college visits and WorkOne’s annual Region 2 Career Development Conference.
