Mainstreet® and Heritage Enterprises showcase first project together
Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts opens Oct. 1 in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana's newest Next Generation property for resident-centered, state-of-the-art health care is set to open. Located in Indianapolis, Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts is the first project between Mainstreet and Heritage Enterprises.
Located at 5404 Georgetown Rd., Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts provides transitional care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) and assisted living in a service-rich environment. Mainstreet and Heritage Enterprises hosted a VIP showing of the property this evening.
“It is with great pride that we begin operations at Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts,” said Anthony Ughetti, executive director at the property. “We look forward to getting to know our neighbors on the west side of Indianapolis and making a difference every day in the lives of those entrusted to our care.”
Construction started on Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts in September 2013 and the property is set to open Oct. 1. Indiana-based Mainstreet developed and owns the property comprising Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts and Illinois-based Heritage Enterprises is operating it.
“Heritage Enterprises has been serving seniors in Illinois for more than 50 years. As the health care needs of seniors have evolved, Heritage has always been at the forefront and adapted to meet those needs,” said Benjamin Hart, president and CEO of Heritage Enterprises. “We have always strived to provide high quality care and service. We are excited to bring our experience to Indianapolis and look forward to forging new relationships in this great community.”
The 100-bed, 65,602-square-foot Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts features a movie theatre, game room and walking trails, as well as restaurants, an on-site chef and more. The project, which represents a total community investment of $13.2 million, created more than 350 construction jobs and 120 part-time and full-time jobs at the property.
“Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts is the latest example of our Next Generation properties transforming the health care industry,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “The innovative design and hospitality-oriented care delivers aging Americans what they want and deserve – more services, amenities and attention.”
Evergreen Crossing & The Lofts will host a community open house for visitors in mid-to-late October.
