Westfield's Grand Park will host two major youth soccer tournaments next year. An estimated 150 teams from across the country are expected to play in the National Premier Leagues Finals and the National Cup XIV Finals. September 25, 2014

News Release

WESTFIELD, Ind. – US Club Soccer officials announced today that Grand Park will host the 2015 National Premier Leagues (NPL) Finals and the National Cup XIV Finals.

“Grand Park's impressive facilities are exactly what we look for in a national championship setting,” Bill Sage, US Club Soccer's Executive Director, said. “We're confident that the clubs that advance to this stage of competition in July will enjoy the quality atmosphere of both Grand Park and Westfield, Indiana.”

The 2015 NPL Finals, slated for July 9-13, is the targeted destination for all NPL soccer teams throughout the country, as the culminating event of year-long, league-based competition. Approximately 150 teams from across the country are expected to compete in the NPL Finals.

The National Cup XIV Finals, which will take place July 17-20, is the closing event of US Club Soccer’s 14th annual cup-based national championship competition open to all members in U-13 through U-17 boys and girls age groups. Approximately 120 teams from across the country will compete at the National Cup XIV Finals.

“We’re thrilled to host the US Club Soccer national championships at Grand Park,” said Westfield Mayor Andy Cook. “Both of these tournaments attract a large number of attendees from across the country, which has a measurable impact on our local economy.”

The 2014 NPL Finals and National Cup XIII Finals (held this past July in Greensboro, N.C.) included teams from 18 different states – including several teams from the West Coast and Hawaii.
