An Indiana man left paralyzed from his neck down in a kayaking accident has made a full recovery and hopes to use his experience to make it easier for spinal cord injury patients in the future. Chris Leeuw says he learned during recovery that Indiana lacks an extended stay rehab center, like the one he traveled to in Utah. Four years after his accident, he has started a crowdfunding campaign to raise $125,000 to open NeuroHope, a long term spinal cord rehabilitation center in Indiana. Leeuw was a guest on this weekend's edition of Inside INdiana Business Television. The $125,000 will get the ball rolling, but eventually Leeuw needs $600,000 to invest in equipment that would set Indiana apart from other facilities.
