Crowe Horwath LLP in South Bend is hiring and plans to add 100 workers by the end of next year. The audit and tax group positions are a mix of full and part-time. SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Due to growth in its audit and tax practices, Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S., plans to hire 100 people in the South Bend, Indiana area in the next year. These hourly positions will be a mix of full- and part-time jobs. Pay will be based on the applicant's experience.

“We've already hired 40 people this year, with plans to increase that number to 60 by the end of 2014 and 100 by the end of 2015,” said Gary Fox, South Bend office managing partner. “These positions are for those interested in providing client support for our audit and tax groups, but are looking for a more flexible arrangement, whether they are college or graduate students, parents of school-aged children or others looking for an adjustable schedule in South Bend.”

Fox explained that the roles and responsibilities for each position are tailored to the individual's skill level and that internal training will teach new hires the additional skills that are necessary. “As a firm that started in South Bend as Crowe Chizek, and is now a national firm that is globally branded, we're glad to be bringing more jobs to the area,” he added.
