INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — On Tuesday, July 29, Eskenazi Health will celebrate the opening of The Commonground at Eskenazi Health, a unique outdoor green space focused on community wellness and the uplifting of patients, employees, visitors and the entire community.
Eskenazi Health leaders, designers and community officials will celebrate the opening with remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The festivities will also include a Taste of Eskenazi Health, an event featuring healthy food offerings from the various Eskenazi Health food retail outlets, as well as yoga and other physical activity demonstrations, live entertainment and the Eskenazi Health Farmers’ Market.
The Commonground is the latest enhancement to the new Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and Eskenazi Health campus, which opened to care for patients on Dec. 7, 2013. World-renowned designers LAND COLLECTIVE,
The OLIN Studio, and Diller Scofidio + Renfro collaborated on The Commonground’s design.
