Five northeast Indiana manufacturers are trying to fill 135 positions. The companies will host a hiring event Thursday for the jobs paying up to $22 per hour. July 25, 2014

Ligonier, IN – Five Ligonier manufacturers with similar staffing needs will join to host a hiring event to fill a total of more than 135 positions.

The hiring event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 31 at West Noble High School, 5094 U.S. 33, Ligonier.

Participating employers are Guardian Industries; TrelleborgVibracoustic; Millennium Industries; BRC Rubber & Plastics; and Parker Hannifin. The Pro Resources staffing firm will also participate.

Most of the jobs are production positions with varying wages. Candidates are also being sought for a handful of maintenance technician positions paying up to $22 an hour.

The hiring event was organized by Northeast Indiana Works and the Noble County Economic Development Corp.
