Governor Mike Pence has announced several new university board members. They include appointments at Purdue University, Indiana University, the University of Southern Indiana and Vincennes University.

News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Governor Mike Pence recently named the following individuals as trustees to university boards.

Purdue University Board of Trustees

1) Gary J. Lehman, of Tippecanoe County, has been reappointed to a three-year term through June 30, 2017. Lehman serves as Chairman of the Board for Oerlikon Fairfield, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his MBA from Case Western University.

2) Bruce W. White, of Clark County in Illinois, has been reappointed to a three-year term through June 30, 2017. White is Chairman and CEO of White Lodging and is a graduate of Purdue University and the Harvard Graduate School of Business O.P.M. Program.

University of Southern Indiana Board of Trustees

1) Amy W. MacDonell, of Marion County, has been reappointed to a four-year term through June 30, 2018. MacDonell currently serves as a volunteer and previously worked as a consultant to Mayor Goldsmith. She earned her undergraduate degree from Denison University and her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.

2) John M. Dunn, CEO of Dunn Hospitality Group, has been reappointed to a four-year term through June 30, 2018. Dunn, of Vanderburgh County, is a graduate of Oakland City University.

3) W. Harold Calloway, of Vanderburgh County, has been reappointed to a four-year term through June 30, 2018. Calloway, a State Farm Insurance Agent, attended Mary Holmes Jr. College, earned his undergraduate degree from Lane College and his graduate degree from the University of Evansville.

Indiana University Board of Trustees

1) Andrew F. Mohr, of Marion County, will serve a three-year term through June 30, 2017. Mohr, who serves as President and CEO of Andy Mohr Automotive, earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University.

2) Michael J. Mirro, Chief Academic Research Officer for Parkview Health System, will serve a three-year term through June 30, 2017. Mirro, of Allen County, earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in Chicago and his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Vincennes University Board of Trustees

1) Mark A. Michael, Jr., of Wabash County, will serve a one-year term through June 30, 2015 as the student appointee to the Board. Michael has committed his time to the University as a Student Ambassador, a Campus VideoNet Service Technician and as a member and former President of the Vincennes University Student Government Association. Having already earned his associate’s degree in Law Enforcement and a number of awards including the Pacemaker Paddle Award for Leadership and Campus Involvement, Michael is anticipated to graduate in 2015 with his bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security.
