Unionized Vectren Workers Approve Labor Deal

Indianapolis, Ind. — Vectren Corporation's subsidiary, Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana – North (Vectren), has learned union membership voted to ratify the labor agreement between Vectren and IBEW Local 1393 and Steelworker Locals 12213 and 7441 as of June 16, 2014. As a result of the efforts of all involved, this new agreement was finalized several months in advance of the December 1 expiration date for the existing agreement.

(VUHI) Rick Schach. “The willingness of everyone involved to work together to reach this agreement well in advance of the contract’s expiration demonstrates the continuing commitment to maintain a productive partnership between the company and its colleagues and the continued provision of reliable and safe service for our customers.”
