Our partners at The Herald Bulletin report Bill Hardacre spent more than three decades as treasurer of family-owned Best Dairy Ever and was a member of several boards including Anderson University. He was 82. The company has since been acquired by Prairie Farms.
As a member of the Madison County Corp. for Economic Development, Haracre was instrumental in the establishment of the Flagship Industrial Park.
Ivy Tech Community College President Tom Snyder says Hardacre was a “remarkable community leader.”
His list of endeavors includes a failed run for mayor of the Madison County city.
