INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Rook Security, a global security solutions provider, announced the expansion of its Indianapolis headquarters and the creation of 30 new technology jobs during the next year. The state-of-the-art facility in downtown Indianapolis features a host of physical and digital security measures to ensure 24/7 uptime in the Security Operations Center, which monitors global cyberthreats for Rook's international client roster. Rook Security, formerly known as Rook Consulting, quadrupled the footprint of their 1,500- square-foot headquarters to over 6,000 square feet in order to accommodate the firm's rapid expansion and additional staff.
“Attracting high-tech companies and employees to Indy is critical to our city’s future,” said Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. “Rook Security's success and continued growth is great news for our city and sends a strong message to other Silicon Valley companies that they can thrive and find great talent in Indy.”
Rook Security generated $3.9 million in revenue in 2013, compared to $1.4 million in 2012, and $600,000 in 2011. The recent expansion increased the staff to a total of 45 and the addition of several new clients and service offerings will add another 30 positions in information security, finance, and marketing. After Rook Security’s headquarters moved from Silicon Valley in 2009, the firm recruited heavily from Indiana educational institutions such as Purdue University, Wabash College, Butler University, and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

With the additional capabilities and resources, Rook Security will be able to deliver consulting services, assessments, and managed security services to even more companies facing security threats.
