Organizers of a fundraising event to benefit Indiana University Health statewide trauma programs expect it to become a yearly tradition. Rev, set for May 9 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will feature IndyCar drivers, live music and food prepared by local and celebrity chefs. In a Studio(i) interview, event co-chair Trevor Yager says he expects more than 1,200 to attend. Yager, who is also chief executive officer of Indianapolis-based TrendyMinds, says chefs will be preparing driver-inspired food, including a chili recipe made famous by the mother of Al Unser Sr.

Organizers say the event will support trauma programs through the Methodist Health Foundation, including services for drivers and visitors to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Rev is set for Friday, May 9 from 7:30 p.m. – Midnight at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The next day, the speedway will host the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis.
