An Indianapolis-based marketing firm is expanding. Willow Marketing has hired a small number of employees to handle its growing video production and web development departments. April 21, 2014

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 7, 2014) – Willow Marketing, an Indianapolis-based full-service marketing agency, today announced that it has added five new staff members to its headquarters on North Meridian St. Four of Willow Marketing's new staff members will serve in its web development and video production departments, supporting the agency's growing web and video services.

Indianapolis, named a Top 10 City for Tech Growth by Forbes magazine in 2013, is quickly becoming a national hub for technology jobs. According to a Technology Workforce Report released in March 2014 by the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, the number of computer-related jobs in the Indianapolis-Carmel MSA grew by 7.3 percent between 2009-2012, faster than the national average.

According to the Forbes article, tech industry jobs have grown by more than 50 percent in Indianapolis since 2001. Many of these are in roles outside of traditional tech and software companies, including marketing and advertising firms.

“As a full-service agency, we at Willow are continually evolving our digital services to keep our clients competitive through excellence in web, video, and new media,” said Brad Gillum, CEO and President of Willow Marketing. “Providing cutting-edge technology is a key part of our innovative, full-service approach as strategic partners with our clients.”

Willow Marketing serves both local and national clients with expert services in marketing strategy, branding, design, public relations, and video production. The firm is pleased to welcome the following new employees:

-Indraneel “Neel” Dey, Senior Web Developer. A 2006 Fine Arts graduate of the University of Maryland, Dey deployed his expertise in HTML, CSS, WordPress, and PHP in the governmental and educational sectors and as a freelance developer before joining Willow Marketing.

-Patrick Wenzel, Senior Web Developer. Wenzel is a front-end developer with a strong background in the world of graphic design. Experienced in WordPress development, his focus is on creating the best user experience for both clients and visitors alike. When he's not working, Wenzel enjoys spending time with his wife, seeing the latest indie flick, or making a mess in the kitchen.

-Josh Rowland, Senior Web Developer. Rowland has 12 years of experience as a web developer, six of which have been in an agency environment. He enjoys crafting solutions for clients and helping them achieve their goals, and has a passion for staying current with web trends and design.

-Taylor Bussick, Video Production Manager. Before joining Willow Marketing, Bussick operated his own production company and was a freelance camera operator and non-linear editor producing films, commercials, photography, and marketing videos. Originally from Noblesville, Ind., Bussick graduated from Ball State University in 2012.

-Libby Christiansen, Account Coordinator. Originally from Terre Haute, Ind., Christiansen received a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from DePauw University and worked in various public relations and corporate communications roles in the Chicago area.
