The state's Education Roundtable is expected to vote this afternoon on new academic standards proposed by the Department of Education and the Center for Education and Career Innovation. The State Board of Education is slated to meet next week to consider final approval. April 21, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today Governor Mike Pence will Co-chair the Education Roundtable meeting, where Indiana's proposed academic standards will be presented for final recommendation before going before the State Board of Education for final approval on April 28.
