The News and Tribune reports the city's redevelopment commission has approved plans for the Jeffersonville Gateway Development, which will include a hotel, restaurants and a park. When complete, it will be visible from I-65 and be one of the first sights visitors will see when entering the city.
Construction could begin in May and is expected to be complete in November 2015.
Potential tenants include Zaxby's, Panera and Cracker Barrel.
