PIERCETON, Ind. – The groundbreaking for the expansion of OMCo will be held 3PM, Wednesday, March 5th at OMCo's manufacturing facility (1 Arnolt Dr., Pierceton).
Project: The project is new building addition of approximately 50,000 sq. ft. to double their current capacity. It includes new manufacturing equipment for a total capital investment of $6.7 million. 40 new manufacturing jobs will be created. The project was supported by incentives from Indiana Economic development Corporation and tax abatements from the Town of Pierceton. Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation coordinated the effort. Building contractor is Robinson Construction located in Warsaw, Indiana.
The Company: Founded in 1955, OMCO is the largest custom roll former in the United States. Metal roll forming is a technical manufacturing of highly engineered shapes for many applications across a wide range of industries including components for truck bodies, trailers, material handling systems, solar panel frames and supports, conveyors, escalators, Headquartered in Wickliffe, Oh, it has four locations in the US. The Pierceton facility was constructed in 1989 and currently employs 130.
