Merrillville, Ind. — Companies needing IT management assistance may benefit from a new tenant in the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana that provides consulting, infrastructure and compliance services.
Expedio Technologies Inc. was founded by Kathyjo Shay. She said small- and mid-sized companies face the same technology challenges as larger companies, but may not have access to the same resources.
“All companies are faced with tighter margins and increased competition. This, along with more onerous regulations and reporting requirements, make it more difficult for companies to prosper,” she said. “There often are efficiencies available through the proper use of technology, yet many companies are not aware of them.”
The employees at Expedio Technologies have more than 20 years of experience in IT management, working with companies in several industries including manufacturing, transportation, property management and construction materials production.
“Our experience, problem-solving skills and business experience, including an understanding of accounting and related processes, are among our greatest values to clients,” she said. “We have managed several projects from simple accounting setups to nationwide rollouts of enterprise resource planning software, which stores and manages data at every stage of business from planning and manufacturing to inventory, shipping and payment.”
Shay said Expedio Technologies benefits several ways as a tenant in the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana.
“The center provides a professional address where prospects and partners can contact us as well as services such as human resources, marketing assistance, a professional receptionist and more,” she said. “We also look forward to networking with other business-minded tenants based in the building.”
