Nestlé USA has named a new factory manager for its Anderson operations. Bryan Kaniuk will oversee the plant. He has been with the company since 1998 and most recently served in a similar role at a facility in Canada. January 13, 2014

News Release

ANDERSON, Ind., Ind. – Nestl? USA is pleased to announce that Bryan Kaniuk has been named Factory Manager of its Anderson, Ind., production facility. He will oversee the factory’s production of a number of familiar brand-name beverage products, including the $72 million addition of a new seventh production line announced last year.

This is a homecoming for Kaniuk, who led the start-up process for the NESQUIK® ready-to-drink, COFFEE-MATE® non-dairy creamer and BOOST® Complete Nutritional Drink lines as Production Manager during the Anderson factory’s initial deployment in 2007. He was later promoted to Operations Manager.

A Nestl? employee since 1998, Kaniuk held several key positions in Ohio, South Carolina and Arkansas before his first stint in Indiana. In 2012 he was named Factory Manager at the London, Ontario, Ice Cream facility, where he played an active role in the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) protocols.

Kaniuk graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Agricultural Systems. Nestl? USA believes his extensive manufacturing experience with Nestl? and in particular the Anderson location positions him well to continue to improve performance at the Central Indiana site.

Officially opened in 2009, the Nestl? Anderson plant also produces CARNATION BREAKFAST ESSENTIALS® Drink, and is the sole production site for NESQUIK® ready-to-drink in the U.S. It also serves as a storage and distribution center for other refrigerated Nestl? products, including NESTL?® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Cookie Dough and BUITONI® pastas. The plant employs more than 700 people in roles ranging from logistics, packaging, process engineering, engineering and controls to automation engineering.
