News Release

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Hannah News Service-Midwest, LLC, the company that acquired IndianaNet from the Indiana Chamber in August, has gone live with Hannah IndianaNet – a powerful new legislative tracking and reporting software.

The company is co-owned by Steve Marks and Jonathan Wales. The company brings over 25 years of legislative tracking software experience to Indiana.

Wales, who founded and managed the company's Kentucky operations over the past three years, has returned to Indianapolis, where he spent four years managing the IndianaNet service. He will be the partner in charge of day to day operations, including daily product management, client relations and staff supervision for the new Hannah IndianaNet. Marks will be responsible for the company's financial and technology operations.

Marks and Wales have spent most of the past two months meeting with Indiana lobbyists to customize the software to specifically meet the needs of Indiana's government relations professionals. Similar software is available from the company and its affiliates in Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois.

“We are very excited to show this great community of legislative professionals what they helped develop,” said Wales. “I worked with this group of professionals earlier in my career so the past two months have been very rewarding – personally and professionally.”

“Launching software in a new state is always exciting,” added Marks. “It's really like starting an entirely new company given our business model of operating each state independently.”

The company has leased office space just steps from the Statehouse and is actively building a team of professionals ahead of the General Assembly's November 19 Organization Day.

The company is holding training and informational sessions throughout November for clients and interested professionals who want to learn more about the service. More information on Hannah IndianaNet can be found at www.hannah-in.com
