Mishawaka, Ind. — Bethel College announces that Andrea Helmuth has been promoted from director of admission to assistant vice president of traditional admission and financial aid. She will be responsible for directing the college recruitment efforts for traditional-age college students and providing oversight for the student financial services office.
Helmuth began her career as an admission counselor at Bethel and advanced to become director of the office in 1999. In 2003, she relocated to Biola University in La Mirada, Calif., where she spent nine years as the associate director of admissions. She returned to the Bethel admission office in 2012.
“Andrea has proven to be a valuable, competent leader on our campus and we are excited to welcome her to this new position,” says Terry Zeitlow, vice president for development.
Helmuth received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel College in 1995 and a Master of Science in Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 2002. She is professionally affiliated with NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals), where she previously served as vice president of professional development and held a position on the executive council.
