No job losses are expected from the decision by Toyota Motor Corp. to end production of the Camry at the Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc. plant in Lafayette. WLFI-TV in West Lafayette reports the pending launch of a Subaru Impreza line will help the facility maintain current employment levels. However, SIA might not add as many jobs as planned because of that expansion.

The company announced earlier this year that it intended to add 900 jobs because of Impreza production.

SIA Exeuctive Vice President Tom Easterday was told earlier this week that Toyota would not renew its five year contract for the Camry.

He tells WLFI-TV that Toyota's decision to pull out should provide space for Subaru, which could bring some special projects to Lafayette.

The Camry contract is expected to wrap up by the end of 2016.
