Elkhart-based Welch Packaging Group Inc. has acquired another Hoosier box manufacturer. The Elkhart Truth reports Nova Packaging Inc. in Marion has approximately 60 employees in the Grant County city. Welch has six other locations in Ohio and Illinois, including a facility in Indianapolis.

The publication reports the deal expands the total number of Welch employees to more than 600.

The company expects to keep on the same management team at Nova.
