A New York-based printing and packaging company plans to close an Indiana facility by the end of the year. In a notice to the state, Multi Packaging Solutions Inc. says it will shut down the plant in Terre Haute, leaving 150 people out of work. The company acquired the former Ivy Hill printing facility in 2009. The plant produces printing and packaging for audio and video media. Multi Packaging Solutions says “structural changes” in those industries has prompted the decision. The company says there has been a dramatic drop in the amount of work that is available and significant change in what remains.

The plant is slated to close December 31.
