The business community has been targeting markets including San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle for uninterrupted flights. All are key technology industry hubs. During an appearance this year on the Inside INdiana Business Television 15th Anniversary Special, Carmel-based ChaCha Inc. Chief Executive Officer Scott Jones called a direct flight to the West Coast “job number one” for central Indiana business leaders. Jones is also co-founder of Grow Indiana Media Ventures LLC, which is the parent company of Inside INdiana Business.
State officials are not commenting on the specific nature of today's announcement.
Governor Mike Pence will take part in today's event.
