News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Home Health Depot, Inc. (www.hhdepot.com) announced today that it has opened a new branch location in Austin, Texas. The new branch will initially focus on providing complex rehabilitation equipment to patients located in the greater Austin and San Antonio markets. With the addition of Texas, Home Health Depot now has locations in six (6) states (Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Texas).

Home Health Depot offers a full line of products designed to meet the specific medical and functional needs of people with disabilities, including people with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, ALS and many other conditions. Last year, Home Health Depot was named the best complex rehabilitation technology provider in the nation by HME News.

In announcing the expansion, David Hartley, CEO of Home Health Depot stated: “We are excited about the opportunity to provide the highest quality complex mobility products to patients in the State of Texas. We believe our continued focus on superior service will serve us well as we enter the Texas market.”

Home Health Depot’s President, Nathan Feltman, commented: “We continue to look for smart growth opportunities as the delivery of healthcare is quickly changing due to today’s economic realities. However, the one constant as we grow is our commitment to providing the highest customer care and responsiveness to our patients.”

The Texas expansion follows a busy 2012 on the acquisition front for Home Health Depot. Last year, Home Health Depot acquired Advanced Rehab Technologies, LLC, the largest provider of complex rehabilitation equipment in Iowa; RCS Management Corporation’s in-home respiratory and sleep therapy assets; Medical Mobility, a Ft. Wayne, Indiana based company specializing in complex rehabilitation equipment; and Genesis Healthcare Services, LLC, a medical equipment and service provider to hospice patients.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Home Health Depot is a privately held provider of home medical equipment with locations in Indiana (Columbus, Ft. Wayne, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Marion and Muncie), Illinois (Bloomington and Chicago), Iowa (Des Moines and Iowa City), Georgia (Atlanta), Michigan (Brighton) and Texas (Austin). Home Health Depot has five divisions: Specialty Mobility/Rehab – providing complex mobility and seating equipment for patients with disabilities through our team of RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professionals; Respiratory – providing the latest technology in oxygen and sleep therapy; Aging in Place – providing patients with products and services that enable them to stay in their home; Hospice Equipment & Services – providing medical equipment to hospice patients; and Retail Outlets – locations in Indiana and Illinois which display hundreds of products for everyday medical needs. Due to the broad range of home medical equipment and services provided, Home Health Depot provides patients and referral sources a single point of contact for all of their home medical equipment needs.
