A German-based company has named a new leader of its Indianapolis-based North American business, including an operation in Indianapolis. March Strandquist will lead W?rth Group's six companies in North America, which includes W?rth Service Supply in Marion County.

Indianapolis, Ind. — W?rth Group Appoints Marc Strandquist As Executive Vice President Of W?rth Industry Of North America

The German based W?rth Group has appointed Marc Strandquist as Executive Vice President of the W?rth Industry of North America (WINA) companies. The appointment comes as part of the reorganization of the W?rth Group’s management structure.

As Executive V.P. of the WINA, Mr. Strandquist will be responsible for the six industry companies in North America: W?rth Action (Riviera Beach, Fla.), W?rth Adams (Maple Grove, Minn.), W?rth Revcar (Roanoke, Va.), W?rth Service Supply (Indianapolis, Ind.), W?rth Snider (Louisville, Ky.), and Marine Fasteners (Sanford, Fla.). The companies work as a collective unit to bring inventory management solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) through their proprietary service brand, CPS® C-Parts Solutions. The WINA companies closed the business year 2012 with $313 million in sales with around 850 employees. Mr. Strandquist will oversee all operations for this group.

Mr. Strandquist brings years of top management experience and success with the W?rth Group to his new position. He has previously served as CEO for W?rth Snider and W?rth Service Supply and is the current Executive V.P. for the hot forming companies of the W?rth Group: Dokka Fasteners AS (Dokka, Norway), Dokka Fasteners Inc. (Auburn Hills, Mich.), and Cardinal Fastener (Cleveland, Ohio). In his nearly six years with W?rth Service Supply, he implemented new training and management techniques to reverse the company’s fortunes and increased sales from $45 million to $168 million. In 2010 he was a part of the founding team that built Dokka Fasteners Inc. in North America from the ground up. Along with his new appointment, Mr. Strandquist will continue his responsibilities as Executive V.P. for the hot forming companies.
