Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg has a new leader. The News and Tribune in New Albany reports Michael Everett has been named chief executive officer. He had been an administrator at a hospital in Kentucky, which has the same owner as Scott Memorial. Everett also has experience at a southern Indiana medical center and a distribution company in Kentucky.

He succeeds Clifford Nay, who retired late last year after serving various posts at the hospital since 1979.
