Indianapolis-based Olympia Media Group is planning to add more than a dozen workers over the next two months. The company says its fraternity and sorority-targeted publication, The Odyssey, can be found on nearly 40 college campuses throughout the country. July 17, 2013

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Olympia Media Group, a millennial content and marketing company producing niche content, is hiring 15+ employees in the next 60 days, with 10 or more of those employees to be hired in the next 15 days to rebuild a content structure that focuses on multi-channel content creation and rapid expansion of locations.

Olympia is seeking thought leaders nationwide in content and marketing from the millennial generation to play an integral role in the management and direction of content creation across print, web, mobile and tablet. Four of five Olympia hires since March have been from out of state.

“It's vitally important that our team members are experienced thought leaders in their area. Our primary product, The Odyssey, is a weekly lifestyle publication directed towards Greeks that is unique to each campus. We want someone that knows and understands that market, to run that market, it’s as simple as that,” said Adrian France, Chief Creative Officer.

As Olympia has grown, they have realized that the cultural fit in the organization is the most valuable aspect of building a company focused on rapid growth. Since March, Olympia's “code of culture” has been the primary tool to vet hires to create a cohesive, creative atmosphere with tenants such as “Measure Achievement Not Completion,” “Love Winning,” and “Be an Inventor.”

“We believe for the next round of multiplicative growth, the new members of our content team must be wildly innovative thought leaders that are energized by having and executing on big ideas. Honestly, part of our vision in the past few months has evolved to bringing together some of the best leaders of the millennial generation knowing that great things will happen. For example, hiring an Executive Editor from a industry-leading content company will bring our team a ton of awesome ideas,” said Evan Burns, Chief Executive Officer.

Positions include an Executive Editor, Account Executives, Managing Editors, News Desk Editor, Digital Editors, Campus Marketing Manager, and a Lead Designer. Olympia will also be hiring several freelance designers that do not have to have a Greek background. All inquiries can be made to Adrian@OlympiaMediaGroup.com.
