Petroleum Traders Among ‘Largest Private Companies’

Petroleum Traders Corp., which provides wholesale gasoline and diesel fuel throughout the country, joins the likes of Meijer, Bass Pro Shops and Dell on the list.
Petroleum Traders Corp. came in at number 212 on the list. The company is said to have revenue of $2.1 billion. Only firms with more than $2 billion in revenue were included on the list.
The number one company on the list is Minnesota-based Cargill Inc., followed by Koch Industries, Idaho-based Albertsons and Dell. At number 10 is New Hampshire-based G&S Wholesale Grocers Inc, which recently announced the closure of two subsidiaries in Indianapolis and Yorktown.
