Visit Indy says the city brought in a record 28.8 million visitors in 2017, resulting in a $5.4 billion economic impact. The organization is touting "major wins" in 2018 as well, including booking Routes Americas 2020, a major conference attracting airline route decision makers, and landing the NCAA Men’s Final Four in 2026, which is expected to bring an economic impact of $70 million.
