Verizon says it has installed the same technology it used to increase wireless capacity at this year’s presidential inauguration and Super Bowl at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The company has installed five matsing balls, each with 36-60 antennas, throughout the track ahead of the 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500. Steve Van Dinter with Verizon says data traffic at the 2016 race was more than double the previous year.
