India-based Infosys opened its first Technology and Innovation Hub in Indianapolis a year ago. The information technology company celebrated its first anniversary in Indy Wednesday along with Mayor Joe Hogsett. Rick Cardwell, vice president and head of the Midwest region for Infosys, says the company has already hired 500 people for the $9 million hub, located in the OneAmerica Tower in downtown Indy, on the way to its goal of adding 3,000 jobs by the end of 2023.
