Despite the challenges and upheaval COVID-19 presented in 2020, economic development in Indiana didn’t miss a beat. In fact, the IEDC says the state had a "record-breaking” year. The agency says it secured 282 commitments from companies to locate or grow in Indiana and invest more than $5.6 billion in their Indiana operations and create up to 31,300 new Hoosier jobs.
