Foppers Pet Treat Bakery in Logansport is the brainchild of a mom who gave in to her daughter’s wish to bring a dog into the family. Shortly after “Holly” joined the fold, the Michelle Leffert started a small pet boutique bakery. That was 2004. Today, that startup has grown into a multi-million-dollar business and one of the winners of Walmart’s Open Call event in June. CEO Michelle Leffert explains her company’s keys to success.
